Liesa 28th December 2020

Your Sunset by Liesa Moon Her apricot glow; your beauty bestows! Shimmering spectres and shadows fade against bone blackened skies, As her enlightened absence denies. A sullen old orb sinks soulfully Lower; her nightly dance gracefully Slows, until forbidden forms meet In a twisted, but lyrical suite. Carnal heat fades to invite the grey, Cool indifference of night over day. A battle of wills; rising and setting, Hear the wolf herald nightly bloodletting Filling blue lagoons with tangerine blood; Cleansing the earth in a harlequin flood. Grape soaked skies project ink-filled forms, on a nocturnal stage poised to perform.
