Your Sunset by Liesa Moon
Her apricot glow; your beauty bestows!
Shimmering spectres and shadows
fade against bone blackened skies,
As her enlightened absence denies.
A sullen old orb sinks soulfully
Lower; her nightly dance gracefully
Slows, until forbidden forms meet
In a twisted, but lyrical suite.
Carnal heat fades to invite the grey,
Cool indifference of night over day.
A battle of wills; rising and setting,
Hear the wolf herald nightly bloodletting
Filling blue lagoons with tangerine blood;
Cleansing the earth in a harlequin flood.
Grape soaked skies project ink-filled forms,
on a nocturnal stage poised to perform.

There isn't a day go by Mum, when you come into my thoughts....whether it be a memory that makes me laugh, hearing your laughter...or a question that I'd like to ask you, and, even just to have another chance to be with you, to sit, to listen, to chat, to laugh....time is passing by so fast, it's been 2 years, 9 months since you left....it feels so long ago yet at the same time, like yesterday. I miss you. WE all MISS you. Love you Mumma xxx
